This Toolkit was updated in partnership with the Alabama Campaign for Adolescent Sexual Health (ACASH) with the goal of equipping young adults with the knowledge of their right to contraceptive access in Alabama. It covers the basics of health insurance, the Affordable Care Act’s coverage and nondiscrimination protections, understanding key insurance documents, and what to do if your contraceptives are not covered. This Toolkit is the second in a series focusing on helping young adults in southern states understand their rights in accessing contraception.
