Carly Myers is a Staff Attorney with the National Health Law Program’s California office. Carly’s work focuses on California health policy, with an emphasis on Medi-Cal services and improving access to care for foster youth, people with disabilities, and other underserved communities. She also works on federal disability rights policy.
Before joining the National Health Law Program, Carly worked at the Disability Rights Education and Defense Fund for five years, where she led a range of litigation, legislation, and policy initiatives aimed at increasing nondiscriminatory access to health care and reducing health inequities experienced by people with disabilities. She has also worked with the Tennessee Justice Center, the Legal Aid Society of Middle Tennessee and the Cumberlands, Disability Rights Tennessee, and Vanderbilt’s Medical-Legal Partnership with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
Carly received her B.A. with honors from the University of Florida and her J.D. with honors from Vanderbilt University Law School.
