Executive Summary
On July 4th, President Trump signed the so-called “One Big Beautiful Bill Act” (OBBBA) into law, enacting the most sweeping and harmful Medicaid cuts in U.S. history. In this webinar, NHeLP Staff Attorney Shandra Hartly, Delivery System Reform Practice Area Director David Machledt, and Senior Attorney Madeline Morcelle provided an overview of the forthcoming nationwide work requirements, what they mean for health care access, and key implementation considerations, including damage mitigation opportunities, for advocates and state officials.
