[WEBINAR] How the Medicaid and Reproductive Justice Collaborative is Meeting this Moment

Executive Summary

Since 2018, the Medicaid and Reproductive Justice Collaborative (Collaborative) has built collective power to advance the reproductive justice movement’s vision for the future of Medicaid and universal health care reform. The Collaborative is a dedicated movement space for reproductive justice organizations and advocates to develop shared analysis, dream and strategize together, and build collective power on their own terms and in accordance with movement values.

On May 12, 2026, Collaborative member organizations In Our Own Voice: National Black Women’s Reproductive Justice Agenda, the National Asian Pacific American Women’s Forum, the National Latina Institute for Reproductive Justice, and Unite for Reproductive and Gender Equity convened with NHeLP to discuss how the Collaborative is meeting the moment. Speakers discussed what Medicaid cuts mean for reproductive justice; the Collaborative’s vision for universal health care reform; how reproductive justice movement advocates can join us; and how allies can support our work.
