Medicaid Advisory Committees (MACs) and/or Beneficiary Advisory Councils (BACs) provide a meaningful opportunity for stakeholders and enrollees to engage with state Medicaid officials and policymakers. Engagement will be crucial as states begin implementing OBBBA’s work requirements. This resource provides suggestions about how to work with state MACs/BACs to mitigate the administrative burden and other harms that work requirements will place on enrollees and state Medicaid agencies.
