Executive Summary

This chart provides information about the status of each provision of the 2024 Eligibility and Enrollment Final Rule following the enactment of the “One Big Beautiful Bill” Act, which partially blocks implementation and enforcement of some of the rule until September 30, 2034. It also provides an overview of the options states have to implement the rule’s protections and streamlining provisions even though parts of the Final Rule are blocked.
