Executive Summary
This resource is a collaboration between Community Catalyst and the National Health Law Program. The tight timeline for states to implement OBBBA changes to Medicaid has changed the normal course of advocacy in many states. At the same time, advocates face significant changes to understand and advocate about, which can feel overwhelming. This guide is intended to help states advocates navigate in a changing advocacy environment by identifying different mechanisms and strategies for OBBBA oversight advocacy and providing a 2-3 page overview of why the strategy may be useful in a state, some priorities, and related resources.
