A class of Medicaid beneficiaries in the District of Columbia challenged widespread problems in DC’s Medicaid program, including failing to timely process Medicaid applications, terminating benefits without advanced notice, and denying children the full scope of benefits they are entitled to under the Early and Periodic, Screening, Diagnosis, and Treatment provision of the Medicaid Act.
