NHeLP Comments to OMB on Proposed Exemption Forms from Shared Responsibility Requirement

Executive Summary

NHeLP’s comments on draft application forms for individuals to seek an exemption from the shared responsibility requirement under the ACA.  The comments include general concerns and recommendations that apply to all exemption form as well as specific recommendations to the application forms for affordability and hardship in either SBE or FFM states.

These comments were also shared with Covered California whose comments incorporate NHeLP’s recommendations.
