NHeLP and Partners Ask CMS to Add Demographic Fields to Medicare Part C and D Enrollment Form

Executive Summary

NHeLP and 29 partner organizations commented on CMS’s proposed Medicare Part C and D Enrollment Form. Our comments express support for demographic data collection on sexual orientation and gender identity among Medicare enrollees. We also ask CMS to adopt disability and preferred language demographic data fields on the Enrollment Form, consistent with CMS’s commitment to advancing health equity.
