Comments to Help Shape a Federal Immigration and Refugee Integration Strategy

Executive Summary

As part of President Obama’s Immigration Accountability Executive Actions, the administration created the White House Task Force on New Americans. The Task Force is charged with developing a federal immigrant integration strategy. In January 2015, the Task Force called for informal comments to assist in the development of the integration plan. NHeLP’s comments focus on the need to ensure that individuals granted relief are able to participated in affordable health coverage options.
