People with disabilities have the right to equal access to health care. All too often, Medicaid enrollment and renewal process are not accessible and fail to provide reasonable accommodations. Our Eligibility & Enrollment team advances policies and practices that eliminate these discriminatory barriers so that eligible people can get and keep their coverage. We also advocate for proactive policy changes that expand coverage rules for disabled and chronically ill people, who are disproportionately impacted by coverage disruptions, denials, and waiting periods.
