Alejandra Pavisich is the Communications Specialist at the National Health Law Program, where she works closely with the Communications team to manage the organization’s digital presence. She oversees NHeLP’s social media strategy, website content, and engagement analytics to elevate the organization’s advocacy and impact.

Prior to joining NHeLP, Alejandra held various roles at The Nature Conservancy, including communications and project management in Bolivia and fundraising analysis across the United States and Latin America. She supported major gifts teams through data-driven insights and donor engagement strategies.

Alejandra has worked in social media and digital storytelling since 2012, including founding DOBAR DAN SANTA CRUZ, the leading Facebook platform for the Latin American Croatian community, with over 10,000 followers. She has authored more than 70 blog articles highlighting Latin American and Croatian diaspora experiences and currently moderates an online community of over 2,500 young adults, providing peer support and cultural connection.

She holds a B.A. in Mass Communications with a minor in German from Denison University and an M.B.A. with a concentration in Management Information Systems from Wright State University.

In her free time, Alejandra enjoys modern historical films and literature, exploring her family history as an amateur genealogist, and advocating for animal welfare and adoption. She is fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, and conversant in German, Italian, and Croatian.
