Alejandra Pavisich is the Communications Specialist, at the National Health Law Program working closely with NHeLP staff within the Communications team, overseeing the social media channels, and managing the organization’s website.
Her previous professional experience took place at The Nature Conservancy, where she worked in various roles ranging from project management and communications in Bolivia, to fundraising analysis reports in the United States and Latin America, supporting the major gifts fundraising team.
Alejandra has worked in social media since 2012 with the creation of DOBAR DAN SANTA CRUZ, the #1 Facebook page for the Latin American Croatian community with more than 11,000 likes. She has also written 70+ blog articles ranging from informational to inspirational stories for the Croatian communities in Latin America, Croatia and the United States. Alejandra volunteers as the creator and moderator of a Facebook community group of 2,500+ members that provides information and support to Latin American young adults who want to study in Croatia through partial scholarships.
Alejandra has a B.A. in Mass Communications with a Minor in German from Denison University, and a Masters of Business Administration with a concentration on Management Information Systems from Wright State University.
In her spare time, Alejandra enjoys reading and watching movies that are based in modern history. She is an amateur genealogist, and loves supporting animal welfare and adoption organizations. Alejandra is fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese, and has conversational knowledge of German, Italian and Croatian.
