NHeLP policy analysts provide an overview of the landscape of managed care in Medicaid. Topics will include network adequacy, enrollee rights and protections, prior authorization, and the new 2024 updates to the Managed Care Access rule.
The Delivery Systems team focuses on the policy, payment, and legal structures that dictate how Medicaid operates, including which providers participate, how prior authorizations are handled, and other important specifics about how people enrolled in Medicaid access their benefits on a day-to-day basis.
Our Delivery Systems team works with staff across NHeLP to advance more expansive access to Medicaid and to timely, high quality Medicaid services. The team priorities center on Network Adequacy, Due Process, Prior Authorization, Stakeholder Engagement, and Health Equity.
