Executive Summary
The Department of State issued a two-day notice of information collection to implement the Presidential Proclamation (“PP 9945”) barring immigrants abroad from obtaining a visa unless they purchase private, unsubsidized health insurance coverage. NHeLP submitted comments opposing the proposal to collect information as set forth in the notice, and the underlying October 4, 2019 Proclamation.
