Executive Summary
In 2023, Montana imposed severe restrictions on coverage of abortion services for individuals enrolled in Medicaid. Reproductive health providers filed suit, arguing that the restrictions violate the Montana Constitution. The lower court granted the Plaintiffs’ motion for a preliminary injunction, and the State appealed.
