Associated Press: Supreme Court Sides With Idaho in Medicaid Pay Dispute

WASHINGTON — Private health care providers cannot sue to force states to raise their Medicaid reimbursement rates to keep up with rising medical costs, the Supreme Court ruled Tuesday.


Elizabeth Taylor, executive director for the National Health Law Program, which promotes medical care for low-income Americans, said the court’s decision “shamefully interfered” with the ability of private parties to enforce the protections of federal Medicaid laws. Read the full article here. »
