Shantell Starr is the Manager, Administration, and Office Manager for the National Health Law Program’s Los Angeles office. As the LA Office Manager, she is the assistant to the office’s managing attorney. Shantell is also assistant to the National Health Law Program chief operating officer. Her responsibilities include benefits management for all employees, coordination of staff travel and other key human resources functions.
She has been in the secretarial profession for more than 15 years and comes to National Health Law Program from the medical facility, Kaiser Permanente, where she spent several years serving as an administrative specialist in their payroll department, where she manual the biweekly payroll production and distribution for 20,000 employees.
Before that, Shantell served as the executive assistant to Bibb and Associates, Inc.’s vice president, as well as having served as an administrative assistant at the Screen Actors Guild.
Shantell is continuing her education part-time attending Pasadena City College to obtain her A.A. degree.
