Mizue Suito is the National Health Law Program’s Director of Development for Individual Giving. Mizue joined the National Health Law Program in 2019 to spearhead the planning of the organization’s 50th Anniversary celebratory events nationwide and expand its individual giving program.
With more than 20 years of resource development and strategic planning experience, Mizue is a seasoned fundraiser with a steadfast commitment to social justice. She has served in senior development positions and managed diverse fundraising program portfolios at several national nonprofit organizations, including Equal Justice Works, National Legal Aid & Defender Association, and National Women’s Law Center. She also served as the director of development at the University of District of Columbia David A. Clarke School of Law where she instituted a successful annual fundraising gala that raises scholarship and fellowship funds for the students.
Mizue holds a bachelor’s degree in government studies from Clark University and a Juris Doctor from the American University Washington College of Law.
