Margaret Okakpu is the Development Manager of Individual Giving at the National Health Law Program. Margaret maintains the donor database, manages annual fundraising campaigns, and oversees online and recurring contributions, along with legacy gifts.
Margaret obtained her Masters degree in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Social Policy and Practice. While there, she studied access to health care and social services for older adults. Margaret previously earned her B.S. in Social Work from Temple University.
Margaret is originally from Connecticut and is partial to the Tri-State area, those she considers Philadelphia her second home. She enjoys reading mysteries and taking her dogs to the park.
