Margaret Okakpu is the Development Coordinator and Executive Assistant in National Health Law Program’s D.C. Office. Margaret maintains the donor database, and coordinates monthy and annual giving, as well as legacy gifts, while also assiting with administrative tasks.
Margaret obtained her Master degree in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Social Policy and Practice. While there, she studied the aging population and their access to health care and social services. Margaret previously earned her B.S. in Social Work from Temple University.
Margaret is originally from Connecticut and now resides in D.C. She enjoys reading true crime novels and taking long walks with her dog.
