Margaret Okakpu

Development Coordinator and Executive Assistant

Margaret Okakpu is the Development Coordinator and Executive Assistant in National Health Law Program’s D.C. Office. Margaret is a recent graduate of the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Social Policy and Practice where she obtained her Master of Social Work degree. While there, she studied the aging population and their access to healthcare and social services. She also interned at Lutheran Settlement House, where she engaged in development and donor database maintenance. Margaret previously earned her B.S. in Social Work from Temple University.

Margaret is originally from Connecticut and now resides in Maryland. She enjoys photography and spending time with her dog.
