Lisa Steinfeld Katz is the National Health Law Program’s chief operations officer. Based out of the organization’s Washington, D.C., headquarters, Lisa works to ensure that the National Health Law Program is maximizing its operational potential and effectively implementing its strategic goals.

Before joining the National Health Law Program, Lisa worked at the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta. As chief financial officer, Lisa oversaw several internal departments and managed a state-wide healthcare trust with more than a thousand employee participants. She then helped develop and implement processes for affiliate fiduciary review and annual allocations, ensuring fiduciary oversight of nearly $15 million to more than 20 domestic and international organizations.

Previously, Lisa served as assistant general manager and vice president of finance and operations in Los Angeles for Fox Inc.’s cable ventures in Latin America. She got her first taste of the entertainment industry as a senior financial accountant with Twentieth Century Fox. Lisa began her career as an auditor at KPMG.

Lisa is a graduate of the University of Florida, where she received a B.S. in accounting, and of the University of Tel Aviv. She earned her CPA in California.

Lisa enjoys hiking and reading. In 2012 she completed the Annapurna base camp trek in the Himalayan Mountains of Nepal.
