Kayla Heaslip (she/her) is the Accounting Director at the National Health Law Program where she leads the organization’s accounting operations.

She brings over 10 years of wide-ranging experience in nonprofit accounting and finance leadership. Prior to joining NHeLP, Kayla has worked in public accounting and at nonprofit organizations, leading accounting teams in roles that included Controller and Director of Finance. She has led accounting system implementations and developed monthly financial reports to meet different organizations’ unique needs, working across teams to optimize processes and provide valuable financial insights to leaders.

Kayla earned her Bachelor’s degree in accounting from Ramapo College of New Jersey. She is a proud New Jersey native and enjoys jigsaw puzzles, hiking, and reality television.
