Administrative Assistant

Jessica Gonzalez is the National Health Law Program’s Administrative Assistant for its Los Angeles offices. Her tasks include supporting the office’s attorneys in an array of projects and work.

Before joining the National Health Law Program, Jessica was a fellow with George Washington University’s Food Policy Leadership Institute and a public health advocate at Day One. At Day One she helped train youth leaders to advocate for issues involving access to drinking water, school lunches and safer parks. While in undergrad and later as a fellow she organized with the Real Food Challenge across the Cal State University system to pass a university policy with a commitment to purchasing 20 percent more sustainable food by 2020. She received her B.A. from Cal Poly Pomona.

Jessica has two cats named Fuji & Apple and enjoys doing embroidery.
