Chelsie Azevedo is NHeLP’s Operations Coordinator, supporting the Mission Coordination Team in the day-to-day business operations that keep the organization running effectively. She brings a systems-thinking approach to operational work, with a particular focus on building clear processes, strengthening data infrastructure, and removing barriers that allow teams to do their best work.
Before joining NHeLP, Chelsie built her expertise across a range of mission-driven sectors including education, food security, international development, and environmental conservation – applying data systems and operational strategy to improve meaningful outcomes for the communities these organizations serve. Her international development work focused on food security and livelihood programs, where she partnered with government stakeholders to advance community-centered initiatives on a global scale.
Chelsie holds a B.S. in Biology from the University of Central Florida and a Master of Public Health from UNC Chapel Hill. She has a Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma and certificates in Human Centered Design and Social Behavior Change.
When she’s not streamlining operations, Chelsie can be found playing her harp and if you catch her at a staff gathering, you may discover she’s also an award-winning singer.
