Brit Vanneman, J.D., is a Staff Attorney for the National Health Law Program (NHeLP), where she works on two of NHeLP’s Practice Areas: Disability and Delivery System Reform. She is also a co-chair of the Center for Constituents with Disabilities (CCD) Health taskforce.

Prior to joining NHeLP, Brit worked as a Staff Attorney at the Judge David L. Bazelon Center for Mental Health Law. There, she supported federal policy and systemic litigation to advance and protect the civil rights of children, youth, and higher education students with behavioral health disabilities.

Brit received her B.A. from Purdue University and her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, where she was a Public Interest Fellow and a former NHeLP legal intern. Brit now lives in North Carolina with her husband, daughter, and their extremely floofy cat and dog besties (yes, really).
