Amo Makhubele serves as theOffice Coordinator & Paralegal – North Carolina. She manages a host of high-level paralegal and administrative responsibilities to support the North Carolina team and help ensure the cohesive and efficient execution of office business.

Prior to joining NHeLP, Amo was part of the operations team for Durham’s Rofhiwa Book Café, and later went on to serve as the Program Administrator for University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s Shuford Program in Entrepreneurship.

Amo has a B.A. from NYU’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study, with a focus on Political Economy & Environmental Studies. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, hiking, traveling, and discovering new music.
