Erica Jones is an Administrative & Operations Senior Associate at the National Health Law Program, where she supports the California Policy and Sexual & Reproductive Health teams in managing day-to-day operations and advancing program priorities. She works across teams to help move work forward efficiently and keep projects and priorities aligned.

Erica brings experience supporting leadership in mission-driven organizations, with a background in operations and administrative support across health-focused and community-based settings. Her work focuses on strengthening internal processes and contributing to organizational effectiveness across teams. She is grounded in a commitment to health equity and has a particular interest in the intersection of law, advocacy, and healthcare, especially in efforts to advance access for communities facing systemic barriers to care.

Prior to joining NHeLP, Erica worked at HealthBegins, a national healthcare consulting firm focused on advancing health equity and addressing social determinants of health. There, she led operations and people functions, overseeing internal systems and organization-wide initiatives with an emphasis on equity-centered practices.

A Sacramento native, Erica enjoys writing and has been working on a book she hopes to finish one day. Outside of work, she can often be found exploring California’s natural landscapes on hikes and road trips with her dog, Asa.
