Utah People’s Post: Marketplace Silver Plans Offer Limited Access to HIV Drugs

Marketplace silver plans offer limited access to HIV drugs, new analysis shows. It seems that consumers who purchase silver plans on the insurance marketplace receive very poor coverage of common drug plans they could end up needing as well as high out-of-pocket costs.

Both the National Health Law Program and the AIDS Institute have already filed a complaint with the Office of Civil Rights of the Federal Department of Health and Human Services last year, claiming that several insurers were offering discriminatory health insurance plans. Read the full article here. »
