Manuela Moeller is the National Health Law Program’s (NHeLP) Senior Director of People and Culture. She has over 12 years of experience in Human Resource Management and shaping inclusive organizational cultures.
Prior to joining NHeLP, Manu worked as Director of People & Culture for an accessibility software start-up and as HR Director for several small government contractors. As the organizations’ first dedicated HR resource, she built HR and recruiting departments and focused on process improvement and creating a strong employer brand. Manu’s passions lie in employee engagement and performance management.
Manu received a Bachelor of Science in Management from George Mason University and a Master of Arts in Human Resource Management, as well as a certificate in Organizational Development from Marymount University. Manu is SHRM-CP and SPHR certified and volunteers as SME for HRCI. She has been actively involved in the leadership of MentorHR, a DMV-based HR mentorship program, after being in the program herself in 2018.
Originally from Germany, Manu currently lives in Phoenix, AZ after spending almost 14 years in the DC area. She volunteers as mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Arizona, loves to hike, enjoys CrossFit, and is active in the Phoenix improv theater scene.
