Kasey Nichols is the Operations Manager at the National Health Law Program and is based out of our Chapel Hill office. Kasey manages NHeLP’s day-to-day operations with an organization-wide perspective to ensure the efficient functioning, safety, and professionalism of NHeLP’s offices by overseeing the virtual and physical space, enforcing policies, and creating a welcoming environment for NHeLP’s staff and other stakeholders.
Kasey is also a North Carolina Certified Paralegal and previously worked in a Family Law office serving clients who are survivors of domestic violence. Kasey has a Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology and a Master’s in Public Administration which she obtained due to a passion in public policy. During her time at SUNY Brockport in New York State, Kasey led a campaign to change a state public health policy that affected low-income women seeking reproductive health services. Kasey enjoys reading, attending her partner’s live music events, and playing with her nieces and nephews.
