Caitlin Santavenere (she/her/hers) is a Grants Manager at NHeLP. She began her nonprofit journey during the 2020 Pandemic as a volunteer Grants Manager for ShopThoughtful and has since worked with Baltimore workforce development program, Project SERVE, and D.C. justice project, First Shift. Her career has always been centered around societal growth through the uplifting of underserved communities and individuals and she has been fortunate to work with organizations who uphold that mission.
Caitlin studied English Language at London Metropolitan and Stevenson Universities, where she also served as treasurer of Sigma Tau Delta and contributed to Stevenson’s literary magazine. Her thesis was a deep analysis of the female characters in Milton’s epic, Paradise Lost. Caitlin also has an MA from Notre Dame University of Maryland in English Literature, with a focus on Victorian feminism and utopian societies.
Caitlin lives in Baltimore and is very involved in the city’s rich local arts and music community. She enjoys traveling, reading whatever she can get her hands on, and having movie marathons with her one-eyed cat, Arthur, and two-eyed dog, Jeffrey.
