Jessica AlHassen is the National Health Law Program’s Institutional Partnerships Coordinator. She supports the Foundations Team and Pro Bono Team with project management, which includes grants and engagement with external partners.
Before joining the National Health Law Program, Jessica was a fellow with George Washington University’s Food Policy Leadership Institute. Additonally, she was a public health advocate in the greater LA area, where she helped train youth leaders as advocates for issues involving access to drinking water, school lunches and safer parks. While in undergrad and later as a fellow she organized with the Real Food Challenge across the Cal State University system to pass a university policy with a commitment to purchasing 20 percent more sustainable food by 2020. She received her B.A. from Cal Poly Pomona.
Jessica has two cats and enjoys cooking Mexican and Costa Rican dishes.
