Chapel Hill Event

Graham Memorial Hall
The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
210 E. Franklin Street
Chapel Hill, North Carolina

The National Health Law Program’s 50th Anniversary Celebration continues in Chapel Hill, near our North Carolina office. The event will start with a panel discussion on North Carolina’s history of racism in the context of access to health care, followed by a cocktail reception. The venue is the historic Graham Memorial, a hub of student intellectual and social activities on the campus of UNC at Chapel Hill. The building, completed in 1931, is named for Edward Kidder Graham, who graduated from UNC in 1898 and served as UNC’s President from 1914 to 1918. He famously promised to make the university “coextensive with the boundaries of the state” by expanding its public service mission.
